On May 18th Governor Baker introduced the "Reopening Massachusetts" report, outlining a framework
for resuming business activity in a four phased
approach. Businesses previously declared essential
are permitted to stay open. They must abide by the
state’s Mandatory Safety Standards and make a plan
to do so using this template. They also need to hang
posters with guidance for employers and workers, as
well as a compliance poster. This must be completed
by May 25, 2020.
Dining in restaurants is not allowed at this time. The
Governor will announce additional guidance on this
before the second phase of reopening, expected in
Food Business Checklist and Resource Guide
